Neelesh Kale is a leading photographer in the fashion, wedding and
portfolio arenas – both here in Sydney and in Mumbai.

I have known Neelesh for over 5 years now. Right from our first meeting, I was amazed by his dedication to art -  not just photography, but of all kinds and genres. He works as a photographer, thinks like a painter, has the perseverence of a sculptor and lives like a poet. Neelesh's world is a slow-moving riot of colours, shadows, shapes, emotions and people.
Unlike some photographers, he doesn't spend hours setting up a frame to take a handful of shots. Instead, Neelesh fires away - using his innate sense of framing and lighting - catching life on the run and giving us moments that last forever. Gifted with a special set of creative eyes, he always manages to capture nuances that would certainly escape a normal photographer who relies on his camera to do the work.

When he not snowed under thousands of photographs, you'll find Neelesh working with clay to create works of art. When he wants a break from shooting people, he heads for his pilgrimage to the Taj Mahal in India - 'a masterpiece that you can't capture enough of'. Or you may find him going through his music files to select the right score for his slide show for a wedding.

For me, Neelesh and art are inseparable. We have worked together on several assignments with great results and have many projects in the pipeline. My only regret is, I was already married when we met. Before you get any other ideas, I mean it would have been wonderful to have him as our wedding photographer. If you have a wedding coming up in the family, look no further.
